I have very strong intentions for the new (or not so new year) year. Taking good care of myself and my family, getting my career as a mother and career woman in order (nutrition, real estate, events...whatever will start making some additional income), and getting out more into the community. Getting involved with Philadelphia and doing some charity work.
I know that without taking care of myself I can't take care of others. This means getting myself excercise - mind and body. I have come to terms with the fact that childcare makes getting to the gym quite expensive so I have some up with several solutions: long walks around the city, videos, home practice, and mommy-and-me classes. I thoroughly enjoy my Monday morning yoga with Iva at the Crane Building. It allows me to clear my mind and get ready fo the week, yoga practice and allows Skyler to play with other children. It is the best way to start the week!
I have been dabbling with the vegan diet. I have not been fully committed to it, but have slowly been integrating more vegan foods into my diet. I have been trying to listen to my body and let my body dictate what it needs. This year has been moving so quickly I am trying to keep up!
Following up with some real estate clients and getting focused on some ideas for my Nutrition practice...I'll keep you posted in some new exciting ideas I have in the works.
